
Our Mission:
The Junior Women's League of Smithfield is a non-profit organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women, and improving the community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers.
Reaching Out Statement:
The Junior Women's League of Smithfield welcomes women of all races, religions, and natural origins who demonstrate an interest in and commitment to voluntarism.
Points of Interest:
The Junior Women's League of Smithfield was founded in October of 2015 when seven women came together with a common interest to serve Johnston County through volunteer work and connect with like minded women who are dedicated to improving the communities in which they live.
Benefits of being a JWL member include: working with other women in our county to create positive change in our communities, insight into community needs and strategies for solutions, access to community leaders and creative ideas, and meeting new friends!
Membership Requirements:

Women who are at least 21 years of age as of July 1, 2023

Annual dues
-
Contribute volunteer hours and participate in fundraisers and community projects

Attend Super Sunday provisional class held at the start of each service year

Attend membership meetings held September through June (optional)
