

The Junior Women's League of Smithfield
Junior Women's League of Smithfield, NC, is a nonprofit organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women, and improving the community through the effective action of trained volunteers. Our organization was founded in Smithfield but is dedicated to the better of all communities within Johnston County.
Our Impact:

Class of 2026 scholarship awards include: $1,000 scholarship to Madison Moore (Clayton High School) $1,000 scholarship to Peyton Luxford (Corinth Holders High School) $500 scholarship to Ava Pyrtle (Clayton High School) $250 scholarship to Lillian Mizner (Smithfield-Selma High School)

Class of 2026 scholarship awards include: $250 scholarship to Symphony Murray (American Leadership Academy)

2026 Community Impact Grant: The $2,500 awarded to the Say Y.E.S. Foundation will be used to implement the Strong Minds Matter: Confidence Crew program, which supports the emotional, social, and mental well-being of youth ages 11-17.
